Registration Fees for participants is $650.00 US (inclusive of all taxes and if paid before October 15, 2007). Registration fees include the Welcoming Reception, Lunches, Banquet, and CD of Conference Proceedings. All authors and chair-persons are responsible for their own expenses, including travel, accommodation and registration fees. Registration and conference fee payment can be completed online through our secure online payment system. While the preferred method of registration is online payment, manual registration is an option. Whether you register online or not, all authors must complete a registration form. Please see updated registration information.

All authors are requested to register by October 15, 2007 which is also the deadline for online publication of manuscripts.

Note: Bank fees (for overseas money orders, deposits, wires, etc) must NOT be deducted from the registration fee. All deposit, transfer or intermediary bank charges must be paid separately by the participant upon making the transaction.

Early Arrival/Extension Stay
The group rate will be extended for stays three (3) days prior to Arrival Date and after Departure Date. Extension/Early arrival outside of the group block is subject to availability of rooms.

Room prior to and after main conference dates are subject to availability at time of reservation unless a block of rooms is required in which case the block will be the guaranteed number of rooms available at the group rate.

Shuttle Service for Delegates

Bangkok is a tourist destination From Airport and within the city taxis are plentiful and they are affordable. The hotel, upon request and payment of a fee will make arrangement for a limo. For more than one travelling together this might be a better option.

Venue for the Symposia - MPES 2007/SWEMP 2007

Bangkok was chosen as a venue after close consultation within the MPES /SWEMP committees. The dates of December 11-13 were fixed the sam e way so they might not conflict with other activities and university commitments. December provides a good opportunity for a holiday. The holiday season starts just about then. These symposia provide the delegates a unique opportunity to combine pleasure with business.

Because of the holiday season, delegates are advised to make their travel arrangements early. The flights to Bangkok from all parts of the world are plentiful and not as expensive as it might appear. Flight time to Bangkok from Frankfurt is just about the same as from Frankfurt to Calgary .

In additional there are plenty of charter flights and packaged tours to Bangkok .
